The sun is blazing, and Marvel Snap is trading the grim dark multiverse for some serious shoreline vibes. Second Dinner has officially unveiled its June 2026 season: Marvel Beach Bash, kicking off on June 2nd.
It only feels like a few days ago that we were talking about the new Daredevil season coming in. Now we’re mostly through it, and it’s been great. Some fantastic new cards to the collection!
It’s time for Marvel Beach Bash, though. From a massive wave of new cards to returning favourite game modes, here is everything you need to know to make a splash next month.
Meet the New Recruits
The June Season Pass for Marvel Beach Bash is bringing some heavy-hitting utility to the meta. If you grab the Premium Season Pass, you’ll immediately unlock Jeff the Baby Dolphin (Series 5), a highly anticipated addition whose text reads: “Your cards reveal here with +1 Power. Moveable once.”

If you decide to upgrade to the Super Premium Pass, you will also net Venus (Series 5), a card built to escalate your board state: “When your cards in play are Empowered, give those cards an additional +1 Power.” I can see this being great with Sebastian Shaw! Wonder if he wants to join Marvel Beach Bash?
The rest of the month’s release schedule is packed with brand new characters across various Series drops, events, and Seasonal SNAP Packs:
- June 17: Ikari (Series 4 – Seasonal SNAP Pack)
- June 29: Stick (Series 4 – Seasonal SNAP Pack)
- Note: Four additional unannounced Series 5 cards are slated to drop throughout the month, featuring archetype-shifting mechanics like cost-reduction based on your top deck card and power-sharing upon draw.

Shifting Terrains: New Locations
Two new locations are entering the rotation this June for Marvel Beach Bash, and they’re bound to alter your turn-by-turn strategies:
- Boardwalk: End of Turn: Give the lowest-Power card(s) here +1 Power.
- Sandcastle: After turn 5, end the game. (Get ready to recalibrate your Turn 6 swing decks; Sandcastle is going to force early aggression).

Limited-Time Game Modes are Back
If the standard ladder is getting stale, June has two massive events lined up alongside Marvel Beach Bash:
High Voltage: Overdrive (June 11–18): Fast games, massive energy, and explosive plays return. Players can grind the free reward track to earn the brand new Series 4 card, Quicksand (On Reveal: Give the last character EACH player played last turn +3 Power). A premium track will also offer a gorgeous new System Studios Variant.
The Grand Arena (June 22–29): This event is hosting a massive melee featuring 21 prebuilt decks curated by top community minds. Pick your favourite champion’s deck and battle for glory. Progressing through the event unlocks the character Triton, with a premium variant also up for grabs.

Competitive Stakes: The Golden Gauntlet
Competitive players need to circle Saturday, June 6th on their calendars. The next Golden Gauntlet Qualifier goes live, featuring free registration (opening May 29th) via the official Marvel Snap Discord.
Even if you aren’t playing, tuning into the Twitch stream is highly incentivized. Between June 4–7 and June 22–28, Marvel Snap is running Twitch Drops. Watching your favourite streamers can net you up to 155 Boosters, a Premium Mystery Border, and a Premium Mystery Variant.
Plus, whoever wins the Gauntlet will have their deck featured in the Card Shop from June 11–15, letting the rest of the player base buy and pilot the exact build used by the champion.

Fresh Cosmetics & Shop Takeovers
Get ready to hoard your gold. June features two major aesthetic drops:
June 9–10: The “Marked by Malia” Shop Takeover features Y2K-inspired variants from artist Malia Ewart for fan-favourites like Nico Minoru, Pixie, and Cassandra Nova. Completing the accompanying album yields a Sub-Mariner “Your Turn” Emote and 4,000 Collector’s Tokens.
June 23: The “Netease Boardwalk Beats” Shop Takeover brings beach variants by Yuhan Wang. Completing this album unlocks a Monstro “Chillin” Emote and a clean Doom 2099 Variant.

Marvel Beach Bash
I thought this season would be one to take off from the daily push through a season pass…..but now I need Jeff (still haven’t got the normal one, either). Plus, the summer vibes are doing it for me.
Marvel Beach Bash feels a little less well-themed in terms of Marvel. But consistent enough for the vibe.
Time to get ready for a new season, a new slew of events and opportunities to get some new cards and keep changing-up my decks. It’s never stale, which is pretty important in a live service game.
