The mutant saga in Marvel Snap is reaching its dramatic conclusion. Following on from the Origins of Apocalypse. Second Dinner has officially launched the April 2026 season: X-Men: End of Days.
If you thought the previous month was intense, buckle up. We’re moving from the rise of En Sabah Nur to the grim, high-stakes endgame of the X-Men mythos.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new cards, the game-changing “Objective” keyword, and why your deck-building just got a lot more complicated.
Marvel Snap is a daily play for me, and keeping on-top of alliance objectives, means I’m always looking for new ways to play. Deck changes, new cards. You name it, it’s a part of my day to day. If I’m not playing something like Zelda or Marathon, this is what’s in my mind.

New Keyword: Objective
The headline addition this season isn’t just a card, but a brand-new mechanic: Objective.
Objective cards introduce mini-quests into the heat of battle. These cards track your progress while they are in your hand or on the board. Once you hit the specific requirement (be it playing a certain number of cards or hitting a Power threshold) you trigger a powerful, one-time effect.
It adds a layer of “mission-based” gameplay that rewards foresight and protects you from some of the RNG salt we’ve all grown accustomed to. Enabling us to act a little more independent of the chaos that takes place round by round.
That extra layer really deepens things. I’m not deck guru, but it’ll be really interesting to see how it impacts the meta. Moreover, there’s potential to shift the dynamic of Marvel Snap entirely.

The Season Pass: Stryfe
Taking the spotlight as the Season Pass card is Stryfe. As the chaotic clone of Cable, Stryfe is designed to disrupt and dominate.
Stryfe (4/6): Objective: Cards in play are afflicted with -5 Power. Reward: Put a card from your hand here.
He’s a technical powerhouse that fits perfectly into “clog” or “hazmat” archetypes, forcing your opponent to play around their own weakened units while you cheat out high-power cards for free.
I’m looking forward to seeing how well I get on with Stryfe. I’m not always a fan of the new card you get from a battlepass, especially more recently. But Stryfe feels more interesting at the very least.

The Four Horsemen (and more)
The Marvel Snap release schedule for April is packed with iconic mutants and the remaining Horsemen of Apocalypse.
Keep an eye out for:
Wolverine (Horseman of War): A brutal upgrade to the classic regenerator.
Archangel (Horseman of Death): Bringing high-impact destruction.
Mother Askani & Stryfe’s Legions: Expect new Series 4 and 5 drops throughout the month that lean heavily into the techno-organic and time-travel themes.
Events & Freebies
Second Dinner is being generous this month to celebrate the End of Days.
Login Bonuses: Starting April 7, a week-long login event offers Credits, Mystery Borders, and a Premium Mystery Variant. A daily login reward goes a long way for me, especially with free variants!
Twitch Drops: From April 7–12, watching your favourite Snap creators will net you Boosters and a Premium Mystery Border.
Deadpool’s Diner & Grand Arena: Limited-time modes are returning later in the month, with the Grand Arena (April 23–30) offering a path to unlock Mother Askani (Series 4) just by playing.

Marvel Snap
Marvel Snap feels like it’s in a transformative period. After a significant launch, years ago, the game had started to drop players and feel a bit stagnant. But not anymore.
The “Objective” keyword is the most significant mechanical shift we’ve seen since the introduction of High Evolutionary (still waiting to pull him!!).
It moves the needle away from pure point smashing, and toward a more tactical, “if-this-then-that” style of play.
Whether you’re a die-hard X-Men fan or just looking to climb the ladder to Infinite, End of Days looks like a high-water mark for the game’s complexity.
Are you buying the Premium Pass for Stryfe? Marvel Snap feels interesting and exciting again. Let’s see what future seasons bring, too.
